Found a new construction retail location, where i became in lead of design, look and lay out of the store; coordinating between myself and the owner of the retail building. Once construction was completed in August, we set for a grand opening in September, 2017. I personally opened and closed the store with no employees for the first 12 months, 7 days a week 12 hours a day. I did this because i knew the quality of success from my store would be based upon the quality of relationships i personally made with my customers. So every single customer was greeted with a smile and a hand shake with a question about their personal self, job occupation, lifestyle etc. This was done to ensure my customers needs were getting fulfilled and maintained. There are many supplement/smoothie shops but the major component that made my store stand out from the rest was customer service. With a town with a population of 10,574 and a household median income of $45,700 in Carencro, in the first 12 months of being open gross sales closed at $490,782. Which can only be attributed to the fact of putting our customers first. Following the first year, I trained and taught hands on with all employees. Made weekly schedules, ran all operations in the store, ranging from filling financial statements to inventory and greeting every customer with a smile. Created employee handbooks, also created new systems and structures for the store to run more efficiently everyday for my employees. 05/2010 – 12/2013 A.L.M Realtor – Lafayette, LA Real-estate Agent and Foreclosure Preparer/ Property Manager.Licensed Real Estate Agent and served as a property Manager working directly with foreclosures. My daily goal would be to obtain damaged residential properties from foreclosure banks to listing of the properties on the MLS to the execution of the sale of the home. Once I would obtain the property i would evict the property if need be and then do a through inspection of the home, taking 100+ photos of the interior and exterior to provide information to the bank of the current state of the property. I would then do a Broker Price Option on the current state of the property and an estimated retail value of the property if we would choose to do rehab. If we did choose rehab, i would then contact over five different contractors to complete a bid and submit them to the bank. Would then turn on all utilities for the property for the rehab to take place and would oversee the rehab process from start to finish, working with the construction team along every step of the way. All the while translating every step to the bank until the rehab was completed. I would then list the property for sale on the MLS and would perform a open house to help further the execution of the sale. The banks would require a weekly check up of each residential property, which included but not limiting to: Weekly grass cut, sanitation of the interior, utilities powered on, showing/listing of property. Which this would be verified by me submitting time stamped weekly photos of each property. On an average I was overseeing 100 Residential Properties from the acquisition stage to the sale of the property.
05/2008 – 05/2010 Hard Metal Advantage Machine – New Iberia, LA Machine Shop Foreman / CNC Machinist: Started as the only full time lathe and drill press machinist. HMA was in the middle of a growth period. The owner wanted me to oversee the production of the machine shop. for the full intentions of hiring more machinist to HMA. Ultimately was able to grow the machine side of the shop, when i left i was overseeing 9 full time machinist. /2004 – /2008 B&L Supply – New Iberia, LA Pack and unloaded equipment: Packaged each order that came into the store in a timely manner. Unloaded boxes delivered to store and placed equipment in their designated places.
