Summary

I have built 2 dealerships one that was selling 9-13 Chevy Buick vehicles a month into a top 50 Silverado store in the United States and another from 12-13 a month to 70 plus a month. My last job at my 90 day review the owner told me that I had already exceeded his 2 year expectations as I wasn’t happy where we were. I did all the buying, get ready, sales, paperwork and even did some repair work on them.

I helped a very small dealership that was selling 12-13 cars and trucks a month grow to a 70 plus a month dealership. I did everything there was there including buying the used cars, pricing them, getting them to the various shops to get them ready to sell, sold cars and trucks, and also did the customers paperwork.

I started selling new and used vehicles on September 16, 1996 for Woodhouse Auto Family in Blair, Ne. I sold directly for the owner of the store for 8 years until October of 2004. The last 10 months that I sold I averaged 64.7 vehicles a month. The I was asked to take a management position with the Ford store In Blair witch I again worked directly with the owner of the company Lance Pittack. After 4 years under Lance he bought a Chevrolet, Buick store in Missouri Valley, Ia. He asked me to be the General Sales Manager of that store. I did accept the offer as I knew it would be a good challenge. I put on daily sales meetings, bi-weekly service meetings, ordered every new vehicle that came onto the lot, decided what used vehicles stayed at our lot or went to auction, and also did all the advertising for the store for 9.5 years.
