Assistant Kitchen Manager for a high volume Restaurant with Entertainment in the Upper Kirby area of Houston -Strong BOH experience 3+ years experience. Catering and events is a plus with exposure to banquets.
High volume venue experience is helpful. Ability to work varied hours, weekends and evenings.
Monthly Food inventory, costs, purchasing, inventory control, par lists and kitchen labor
To ensure that daily inventory is rotated upon every food delivery
Participate and oversee all daily food preparation
Make weekly kitchen schedule, and manage his/her kitchen staff, all while leading by example
Keeping kitchen, and kitchen equipment in good clean and working condition at all times.
Working with the KM to order all food and produce for menu, all bar produce, as well as bar groceries
Assist in hiring and training all new kitchen staff,
Always ensuring that food quality is always a the highest at all times… with no exceptions
To ensure that daily prep and par lists are followed and updated regularly
To ensure that all health codes are being followed by entire kitchen staff at all times
To always keep kitchen clean and within health code limits
