Our well-established entertainment venue, located in the vibrant city of Boise, is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Kitchen Manager to oversee our bar and restaurant operations. With a competitive salary range of $58,000 to $65,000 per year, this position offers a fantastic opportunity to showcase your culinary expertise and leadership abilities.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage all aspects of the kitchen, including food preparation, inventory management, and cost control.
  • Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure efficient and consistent food production.
  • Recruit, train, and supervise kitchen staff, fostering a positive work environment and promoting professional growth.
  • Collaborate with management team to execute seasonal menus, special promotions, and culinary events.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment.
  • Monitor food quality, presentation, and portion control to consistently deliver outstanding dishes.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience as a Kitchen Manager or similar role in a high-volume restaurant or entertainment venue.
  • Proven ability to lead and motivate a team, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
  • Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated creativity and innovation in menu planning and culinary execution.
  • Proficient in cost control, inventory management, and budgeting to drive profitability.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with staff, vendors, and customers.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
